Privacy

Street is made by Georges Daou. This policy describes the iPhone app, its Club service and the Street website. Updated 7 October 2026.

Places and Light

Saved places, GPS coordinates, notes, photographs and meter settings are stored on your device. They are not automatically sent to Club. You can export a backup, which goes to the destination you choose. You can deny location or camera permission in iPhone Settings. Choosing a point on the map works without GPS.

The light meter reads the camera’s exposure settings. It does not record photographs. Map tiles come from OpenFreeMap and its OpenStreetMap based service; tile requests disclose your IP address and the map area you view. Street does not use advertising or tracking SDKs.

Street website

The website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical request information to deliver and secure it. Street adds no advertising or analytics scripts to the website.

Private Club

Club requires an email address verified with a code. Resend sends that code. Cloudflare hosts the service and database. Your email, connections, private messages and photographs you intentionally share are stored there to provide Club. Messages are available to you and your accepted connection. This is not end to end encrypted messaging. Reported content may be reviewed to investigate abuse.

Verification codes expire after ten minutes. Sign in sessions expire after thirty days. Club data stays until you delete your account. Delete Club account in the account menu removes your connections, messages and shared photographs. It does not delete your local Places records. Reports are retained separately for investigating abuse and preventing repeat incidents.

Report review

Report review actions and account suspension records are kept separately to investigate abuse and prevent repeat incidents. They can remain after account deletion. Report alerts contain references rather than private messages or photographs.

Sharing safety

Before you send a new Club message or photograph, the selected content is sent to OpenAI’s moderation service to check for harmful content. You agree to these checks inside Club. Street does not add your account email, GPS metadata, local Places records or earlier conversation to the classification request. Information you include in the selected message or photograph is checked with that content. These API inputs are not used for model training by default; processing and retention are governed by OpenAI’s API data policy. Checks may process data outside your country. Rejected content is not stored in Street’s Club database. Your draft stays locally for editing or retry.

Support and choices

The support form sends your email and message to the developer’s private support mailbox so a reply can be sent. Do not include sensitive content. To ask about your data or request help, use the support form.

Street does not sell your personal data. Your data is used for app functionality, support and abuse prevention. Cloudflare and Resend process data on our behalf. Their infrastructure may process data outside your country.
